Blackburn South Medical Centre has doctors with interests and specialisations across all areas of general practice, including women's health, men's health, children's health, chronic illness management, preventative medicine, mental health, and minor surgeries.
We also offer a range of other services.

Our Fees
Blackburn South Medical Centre is a mixed-billing practice.
We will bulk bill children under 16 and those with a valid Pensioner Concession Card or Health Care Card. DVA card holder accounts will be sent directly to Veterans Affairs. All other patients are charged a private fee.
Fees are payable on the day of your visit.

- Our Centre is participating in MyMedicare which is a free, voluntary patient registration model. It aims to formalise the relationship between patients, their general practice, general practitioner and primary care teams.
- When you register in MyMedicare, it will notify us that you have chosen us to be your regular care team. Additional funding will be available from the government to help provide the care you need. By registering and selecting your preferred Doctor, you will have access to:
- Longer telehealth consultations
- Greater continuity of care with your registered practice
- Improved communication between the doctors supporting your healthcare
- Additional services for chronic disease support
- Funded care planning for patients in aged care

We have free customer parking available on site at the rear of the building. This can be accessed via Hastings Avenue.
